Nestlé Kenya relaunches MILO

Nestlé Kenya has announced the relaunch of MILO, the very popular cocoa and malt beverage, with a new formulation, Activ-Go.

MILO with Activ-Go is made from a special blend of Protomalt, (a malt extract made from malted barley grains), vitamins and minerals uniquely mixed with milk and cocoa, to offer energy release in the body for functional needs, reduction of fatigue and normal function of bones, muscles and red blood cells.

The new MILO is now presented in an easier-to-dissolve powder form, a change from the previous recipe which was granular in nature.

Nestlé East Africa Marketing Manager Lilian Mackenzie said the relaunch of the renowned energy food drink, is in line with Nestlé’s dedication to innovation; continuously improving the nutritional value of its products.

“Drinking MILO as part of a healthy breakfast provides all the essential nutrients that help prepare you and your family to get the most out of your day,” she said.

To meet the needs of all facets of consumers, a new 10 shillings pack has also been introduced for extensive distribution in kiosks and shops countrywide.
