Former Harambee Stars captain Musa Otieno has tested positive for coronavirus, his family confirmed on Tuesday.

According to his brother Barrack, Musa Otieno began showing symptoms of the virus on Friday and was taken to the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) where samples taken from him returned positive for the virus.

He has since been transferred to the Mbagathi Hospital Unit for treatment.

Musa Otieno who has served as a sports advisor to the Nairobi County Government is known to give back to the society and before contracting the virus, he was actively participating in distributing food to Kenyans in different slums.
