Kohler Bold Art launched in Kenya

Kohler and Kitchens & Beyond kicked off year with launch of Kohler.Bold.Art tapping into their ongoing passion for the arts. At an event held at Nairobi’s Capital Club, Kohler  introduced two of its latest products in the market.

Speaking at the event Kohler President, Salil Sadanandan reiterated that as a brand known for its long-standing dedication and appreciation of the arts, Kohler is committed to working with more artists locally and in the region to promote the initiative further as they work to expand the project.

Kohler.Bold.Art seeks to create designs inspired by each artist’s personal experience drawn from their cultural background. The event is one of a number hosted in key cities globally and Kenya was the first to host it in Africa, with future art and craft inspired events planned for the region.

Kohler released its Modern Life collection introducing the latest in hygiene technology, with a host of bathroom fixtures and fittings whose form and finishes make cleanliness an art form – ideal for the hotel industry.

These include Brushed Nickel range of taps and mixers, whose warmth and subtlety are a classic addition to the bathroom and kitchen.

The new ranges are showcased at Kitchens and Beyond in the Ukay Centre, Westlands, Nairobi. As Kohler’s Kenyan partner, they look forward to the coming year as the local market has received the brand positively.

Within its growing East African base, Kohler set down roots in Nairobi, Kenya, a year ago in partnership with Kitchens & Beyond. Having cultivated a loyal following among the architecture and design industry, the award winning brand has become a leading supplier of bathroom and kitchen fixtures and fittings.
