Kenya Power Appoints New Acting MD

Kenya Power has appointed Eng. Geoffrey Wasua Muli as the Acting Managing Director with effect from May 17, 2022.

Eng. Muli will step into the shoes of Eng. Rosemary Oduor who was serving in an acting capacity. Eng. Oduor is proceeding on annual leave.

“We wish to inform our shareholders that the Board of Directors, exercising its powers given under Article 113 of the Articles of Association of the Kenya Power and Lighting Company PLC, has appointed Eng. Geoffrey Wasua Muli as the Acting Managing Director with effect from 17th May 2022,” Kenya Power Company Secretary Ochieng’ J said.

Eng. Muli holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Option); Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration (Strategic Option).

He is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).

Prior to his appointment, he was the acting General Manager in charge of Regional Coordination in the Company.
