Kenyan online retailer lands deal to sell trending smart TV brand

Fast-growing online retailer Hashmart has clinched a deal to sell Star X digital smart TV in Kenya.

Hashmart managing director Mansoor Hussein says the Star X smart digital TVs – from 24-inch to 65-inch sizes – are exclusively available on Hashmart, the leading online retailer for televisions sets, at huge discounts.

The biggest deal is the Star-X 65 inch 4K Smart Android LED TV going for Ksh86,000, with a display resolution of  3840 x 2160 pixels and comes with a memory card (SD) reader as well as Android software.

With an LED backlighted screen, Star X smart digital TV series produce brilliant colour and contrast while maintaining energy efficiency. It also comes playback capabilities for video, photos and music and connection through HDMI and USB. You can watch from almost any point in the room with the TV’s 178 degree viewing angle.

Under the current offer, the 32-inch smart digital TV is going for Ksh14,499 only, down from Ksh20,000, compared to over Ksh30,000 in shops and for other brands.

Sound and performance

The Star X smart digital TV has smart capabilities such as surfing the internet. It supports Youtube videos through the pre-installed YouTube app that gives you access music, documentaries and vlogs. You can also watch live football without making any subscriptions.

The Star X smart digital TV has quality sound that is already impressive even without an external sound system. Just like most of other modern TVs, Star X TVs use the Dolby technology to offer enhanced sound quality. Users can still connect to a separate sound system to get a more up close sound experience.

Under the offer, buyers can can get digital TV deals for as low as Ksh12,500 for the 24-inch variety.
