Kenyan DJ who was pictured publicly displaying a firearm has been arrested, confirms the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Mr. Nicholas Mugo popularly known as DJ Moh Spice was arrested on Wednesday night following a public outcry by Kenyans on social media. The mix master was found with a Steyr Pistol & 174 rounds of Ammunitions.
It has not yet been determined whether or not Dj Moh Spice had a license for his firearm as the DCI is still conducting investigations. The DJ works at Space Lounge club which is located along Ngong road.
The display of the firearm did not look intentional as the DJ was only stretching in the photo hence displaying the pistol which was tucked in his trousers.
Kenyans hailed DCI on the arrest but insisted that they should be informed whether or not DJ Moh Spice is licensed to be walking around with the gun.
“Is he licensed to have the gun? We should start there then we talk of display. Good job though,” Paul Davies said on twitter.
