Crown Paints signs paint distribution deal with German firm

Crown Paints has signed a deal with German firm WACKER to distribute Wacker Silicone Sealants as part of its strategy to expand business and strengthen market leadership.

Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Rao said Crown Paints will continuously seek more corporations with latest technologies in the market as part of its innovative ways to better address the emerging challenges in the market as it strives to meet customer’s demands in the booming construction industry which the paint company has tapped into to boost sales.

“We want to have more value added on for our customers by ensuring that we meet all their requirements with latest technologies in the market. This will enable to us to remain as number one brand in the market,” Rao added.

Under the new arrangement, customers will now be able to access three new products from WACKER which includes WACKER®GP whose general purpose acetoxy silicone sealant used for industrial and do-it-yourself applications. It adheres to glass, tiles, ceramics and enamel, varnished or painted wood and selected plastics.

The other product will be WACKER® CS neutral, low modulus silicone sealant with outstanding adhesion, for construction and exterior weather-sealing applications and WACKER® GS acetoxy silicone sealant used for sanitary applications. It is a mildew-resistant and therefore specifically designed for areas exposed to high humidity.
