The Journey,  a new talk show centered around ordinary to high-powered guests is set to launch on Maisha Magic Plus, the home of premium local entertainment in Kenya. The 45-minute show will be hosted by the prolific comedian, Daniel “Churchill” Ndambuki, and will feature a different guest each week as they reveal their detailed emotional and inspiring stories.

Mr Ndambuki hosts the comedy television show Churchill Show on TV47 on Sundays. Previously the programme aired on NTV. To boost his entertainment business, Ndambuki branched out into talkshow through his YouTube channel, where he features life stories of various personalities in an informal non-journalistic style, garnering huge following.

The Journey show applies rigorous inquisitiveness and sensitivity to the guest’s untold story in a lighthearted, pleasant, and playful manner. The host’s conversational style, incorporating humour easily puts the guests at ease as they slowly confront their past experiences, and tell the story of where they are currently, and the process of the paths they took to get there.

“We are excited to bring this new show to our audiences who are always asking for more variety and more content,” said Margaret Mathore, Channel Head Maisha Magic Plus. “This show will entertain and bring issues into perspective through an interactive style and driven by one of Kenya’s top local talents.”

Ms Mathore said the talkshow will tell local home-grown stories in a way that will open the minds of viewers and connect them to new realities.

The show will go live on Saturdays at 14.00EAT from the 11th of June and expects to deliver transformative real-life stories of high-powered and ordinary guests as they get to debunk the mysteries surrounding them.

Get inspired and uplifted this June exclusively on Maisha Magic Plus, DStv Ch 163, and GOtv Supa, Ch 8.
