CFAO Motors Kenya (formerly Toyota Kenya) has officially started the construction of its premises in Kisumu County which will host the CFAO Motors Kenya Kisumu branch.

The ground-breaking of the new branch construction is a show of commitment to the Lake region economic hub by the vehicle distributor that recently rebranded from Toyota Kenya but has been renting its current space in Kisumu city.

“Our investment of Ksh500 million towards the new showroom enables us to consolidate our operations and offer our Lake region customers a great experience where they can access sale of vehicles, spare parts and service all under one roof. Currently, we our showroom and service workshops are in two different locations within the city,” CFAO Managing Director Arvinder Reel said.

The 3,600 square metre facility located at Nyamasaria and which will take 12 months to complete, will add 40 percent more space from CFAO Motors Kenya current operations in Kisumu that will include 12 service bays, more parking space for customers and increased space to display the auto distributor’s expanded portfolio that now houses Toyota, Hino, Suzuki, Yamaha, Automark, AutoFast and winparts.

“The introduction of additional brands such as Automark in the Lake region allows us to now offer trade-in for our customers, who can bring in their used vehicle for a new vehicle,” added Mr Reel.

The new CFAO Motors Kenya showroom will utilise green energy by installing a solar plant expected to generate 45,000kWh per annum.

With two authorised service centres operating in the Western block, Mr Reel added that the Kisumu facility will enhance CFAO Motors Kenya’s support in the region including on boarding of additional partners.

CFAO Motors Kenya operates a three-channel network in its operations, including branches, dealers and Toyota Kenya Authorised Service Centres. The branches and the dealers are able to offer vehicle sales, services and spare parts. The authorised service centres on the other hand offer services and spare parts.
