Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has officially crossed the 10-figure wealth threshold, according to Forbes, joining a narrow cohort of musicians who have successfully parlayed global cultural dominance into diversified business empires.

The valuation marks the culmination of a high-growth period for the entertainer, underpinned by record-breaking ticket sales and a strategic shift toward direct-to-consumer media distribution. Beyoncé becomes the fifth musician to reach the milestone, joining a list that includes Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, and her husband, Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, whose net worth is estimated at $2.5 billion.

Beyoncé’s wealth surge has been largely driven by an aggressive monetization of her intellectual property and live performances.

The 2023 Renaissance World Tour grossed nearly $600 million. Following that momentum, the Cowboy Carter tour—which capitalized on the critical success of her Grammy-winning country-inspired album—generated an estimated $400 million in ticket sales and $50 million in merchandise.

In a move mirroring Taylor Swift’s strategy, Beyoncé bypassed traditional studio intermediaries to distribute her concert film via AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. The deal allowed her to retain approximately 50% of the film’s $44 million global box office gross.

The songstress secured high-value corporate partnerships, including a $50 million fee for a Netflix Inc. Christmas Day halftime performance and an estimated $10 million from a multi-platform campaign with Levi Strauss & Co.

Despite the billionaire designation, the expansion of Beyoncé’s empire has tested the limits of consumer spending. While she commanded premium pricing—with top-tier UK tickets reaching £950 ($1,200)—the Cowboy Carter tour saw uneven demand in certain regions, leading promoters to discount seats to ensure capacity. Nevertheless, the high-margin nature of her VIP packages and merchandise sales significantly bolstered the bottom line.

The classification of celebrity wealth remains a point of contention between major financial publications. While the Bloomberg Billionaires Index previously included Selena Gomez with a $1.3 billion valuation in 2024, Forbes has maintained a more conservative estimate of $700 million for the actress and entrepreneur. For Beyoncé, however, the consensus suggests that the sheer scale of her 2024–2025 revenue streams has made her status as a billionaire indisputable.
