Premier League Saturday Match Preview with 22Bet

Arsenal face Wolves at the Emirates Stadium in the midst of a crisis following their draw Crystal Palace last weekend. Kenya betting site 22Bet offers the match preview ahead of the weekend.

With captain Granit Xhaka at odds with the fans and Unai Emery under pressure after a poor start to the season, Arsenal are at risk of seeing their top-four ambitions evaporate before the season has really begun.

Wolves, on the other hand, are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw at St James’ Park and a second win in the Europa League, and will expect to cause Arsenal problems.

A last-minute Henrikh Mkhitaryan goal cost Wolves a win at the Emirates last season and Nuno Espirito Santo will know his side will rarely have a better opportunity to secure a win against the three-time Premier League winners.

Team news

Arsenal’s only injury worry is Reiss Nelson who is still out with a knee injury but could be forced into changes as a result of the disciplinary issues that blighted last weekend’s game.

Xhaka reacted badly to abuse from the crowd and it remains to be seen how his indiscretion will be dealt with by the club and his managers Emery.

For Wolves, Willy Boly is set for a long spell on the sidelines after breaking his leg against Newcastle United on Sunday.

The news is further compounded by reports that Ryan Bennett is also a doubt for the trip to north London, so Wolves will likely call on the on-loan Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo.

Prediction

While Wolves have a defence blighted by injury, Arsenal are facing something of a meltdown.

Arsenal were so good at home last season but have already looked vulnerable in games against Tottenham, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace this term and will expect a Wolves side strong on the break to cause them some problems.

Wolves’ best result this year came away at Manchester City so expect them to utilise a similar counter-attacking strategy and come away with a 1-0 win.
