The share price of NIC Group opened at Ksh29 which was 6.9% lower than the previous trading session at the Nairobi Securities Exchange.
Around 45 minutes after trading at the Nairobi bourse had opened on May 22, the stock of NIC was the second highest of the counters blinking red, with only Flame Tree Group ahead of it.
Media firm Nation Media Group also opened on the decliners counter, showing Ksh52.50, a 3.32% slide.
Regular top volume makers Safaricom receded 1.14% to Ksh26.05.
Meanwhile, the HF Group opened with the highest jump, registering Ksh4.50 which resulted in a 5.39%.
Nairobi Business Ventures surged 4.44% upwards, while Kenya Airways (KQ) ticked 4.41% in the green.
Trading at the bourse opens at 9am and closes at 3pm.
Yesterday, BOC Kenya ended the day as the highest gainer, inching 8.33% upwards to close at Ksh65.
Car and General Kenya meanwhile reversed by 8.04%, ending May 21 as the biggest loser at the bourse.
