Sasini Plc Managing Director Stephen Maina Githiga has opted not to renew his tenure at the helm of the company and has proceeded on leave for the remainder of his current two year contract which expires on December 31, 2018.

The board has appointed Group Financial Controller Dr. Samuel Kanga Odalo in acting capacity and has commenced the process of recruiting a new MD.

Dr. Odalo who has served in different capacities at the tea and coffee producer for twenty years immediately assumes the acting MD role until the board finds a permanent replacement.

The acting MD holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the United States International University (USIU), a Global Executive Masters of Business Administration in partnership with Columbia Business School New York, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) (Hons) from USIU, Certified Public Accountant (CPA K).

He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Dr. Odalo boasts of twenty years experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting and Audit.
