KCPE and KCSE candidates will from next week get a chance to purchase mathematical sets, calculators, log books and other school essentials for up to 60% off during the Jumia Back to School Campaign.

“We understand the stress parents face when preparing their children to go back to school – such as hiked prices and long queues. We invite all parents to save time and  money, and find everything they need on Jumia,” said Jumia Managing Director Sam Chappatte.

All school essentials under Jumia Express orders will be delivered next-day, and orders above Ksh4,000 will be eligible for free delivery in Nairobi. “In the future, we hope to partner with schools so we can package particular school kits like books and personal care items, as recommended by schools, to make things easier for busy parents,” said Mr Chappatte.

Customers stand a chance to win school fees totalling up to Ksh450,000 by participating in daily ‘treasure hunts’ on Jumia during the campaign.

Jumia has partnered with various vendors like Nairobi Sports House, Uniform Distributors, top book suppliers, Unilever and Kiwi in the Back to School Campaign.  The campaign runs from the August 20th to 26th, 2018 and will see over 200,000 school essentials discounted up to 60%.
