The People’s Party leader and Member of Parliament (MP) for Kiharu Ndindi Nyoro has denied claims that he is President William Ruto’s political “project”, saying his party is closely working with the “united opposition”.

While on a political tour in Murang’a on Wednesday this week in bid to popularise his party ahead of the 2027 General Election, MP Nyoro intensified policy push aimed at addressing unemployment and easing education cost.

“We have one goal… We all come together,” the MP, who has recently, and most times faced criticism and branded a “mole” in political circles, said Nyoro. “I will not engage in any insults with any leaders. My only goal here is to increase the speed at which Ruto is going home.”
