Eaagads Limited, a listed coffee firm with its headquarters in Kiambu County, saw its Net Profit surge 132.9% to KSh 27.6 million for the full year period ended 31st March 2026.

Eaagads was established in 1946 as a grower of coffee before being incorporated as a private limited liability company, then admitted to the Nairobi Stock Exchange(NSE) as a public listed company in 2001.

The firm’s Net Operating Costs declined 13.3% from KSh 68.9million in 2025 to KSh 59.7 million in 2026 while Revenue fell 7.15% to KSh 257.43Mn after coffee sales volumes dropped 33% to 264 tonnes, despite a 32% rise in the average selling price to US$7.60/kg.

Eaagads financial highlights

Production costs declined 15.82%, from KSh 193.6 million to KSh 162.9 million lifting gross profit 14.59% to KSh 98.90million and pre-tax profit 124.68% to KSh 39.17 million. Net operating cash flow increased 90.77% from KSh 22.91million to KSh 43.7 million.

Despite the sterling turnaround in the firm’s comprehensive incomes from a negative territory, the firm showed preference for packing its cash in retained earnings, rather than paying out dividends to shareholders.

The Eaagads Board maintained its nil dividend, extending non-payment stance that has been in place for 14 years now.

The firm is in possession of a vast piece of land measuring 205 hectares under coffee cultivation, and is one of the few listed firms at the Nairobi Securities Exchange(NSE) with a female chairperson of its Board of Directors.

Ms. Muthoni Runji-Pertet Chairperson and a Non-Executive Director, was appointed to the Eaagads Board on September 5th 2023, is a Partner at Ronn Law.

She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and practices as a real estate & finance lawyer.

She is especially good at handling complex real estate developments, project structuring, commercial sales, commercial leasing and has worked with several commercial developers in some of Kenya’s innovative development projects.

Muthoni is a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public. She is also a Certified Public Secretary (CS) and a qualified Governance Auditor.

She was appointed as the Chair of the Board at Eaagads following the re-designation of Dr. Kimemia (the former Chairman) as an Executive Directors, effective 19th December 2024. She also serves as the Chairman of the Board Nominations and Governance Committee of the Eaagads Board.

Eaagads is engaged in growing, blending and selling of coffee products both locally and in the International market.
