Apple Authorized Reseller in Kenya Salute iWorld has officially launched the highly anticipated iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air, alongside the revolutionary iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The unveiling marks a significant milestone in Kenya’s mobile technology landscape, offering consumers access to Apple’s cutting-edge innovations.

The event was highlighted by Vivek Mehra, Managing Director of Salute Holdings Group, who emphasized the technological advancements of the new iPhone models. “The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max represent a leap forward in mobile technology,” he stated. “Built with an Apple-designed vapour chamber integrated into a durable, lightweight aluminum unibody, these models deliver Apple’s best performance yet, along with a significant boost in battery life.”

Powered by the new A19 Pro chip — the most powerful and efficient processor for iPhone — these devices enable advanced camera systems, next-level gaming, and enhanced Apple Intelligence features. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max feature three 48MP Fusion cameras — Main, Ultra Wide, and an all-new Telephoto — offering the equivalent of eight lenses, including the longest optical zoom ever on iPhone at 8x. The industry-first 18MP Center Stage front camera elevates selfie photography.

For content creators and professional filmmakers, new video features like ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, and genlock ensure seamless integration into various production environments.

Design-wise, both models boast Ceramic Shield 2 front covers with three times better scratch resistance, and for the first time, Ceramic Shield protection extends to the back of the devices. Available in three stunning finishes—Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange, and Silver—the new iPhones combine style and durability.

This launch comes at a time of robust growth in smartphone adoption in Kenya. According to the Communication Authority of Kenya, by the end of the reporting period in April 2025, 73.2 million mobile phones were connected to networks, with smartphone penetration reaching 83.5 percent.

Meanwhile, Salute iWorld has invested Ksh 5 million to revamp its flagship store at Village Market. The modernisation aims to transform the shopping experience into a dynamic and immersive journey, featuring modern design elements, interactive displays, and experiential zones that go beyond traditional retail. “The goal is to create a memorable environment where customers can explore, learn, and enjoy unique experiences while discovering a wide range of products,” said Vincent Onyango, Business Manager at Salute iWorld.

Established in 2012, Salute iWorld is East Africa’s leading Apple Authorized Reseller, operating nine stores across Kenya, including Westgate Mall, The Junction Mall, Yaya Centre, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(Terminal A), Town Store IPS Building, Village Market, Galleria Shopping Mall, Garden City Mall, and Capital Centre.

The company has partnered with financial service providers such as KCB Group, Standard Chartered Bank, NCBA Loop, I&M Bank, Flexpay, Spotit, as well as offering in-house payment plans to facilitate wider access to Apple devices.
