The second edition of the Road Music Challenge was officially unveiled on 22nd November with singing groups being allowed to showcase their prowess for the first time.

The one-month competition will require participants to share a video recording of themselves singing to a special Yamaha music track for an opportunity to ride home on the sleek and powerful Yamaha FZ150 motorcycle. The 1st & 2nd Runners Up will take home Ksh200,000 and Ksh100,000, respectively.

The competition is open to all Kenyans irrespective of age and builds on the success of the first edition while celebrating the buzzing musical talent in the country. This year’s challenge promises to be a thrilling blend of creativity and social responsibility. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain parental/guardian consent to enter the competition.

Speaking during the launch, CFAO Mobility Kenya Deputy Managing Director, Mr Joshua Anya said music is a powerful force for change, and this year’s Road Music Challenge is a platform where creativity meets responsibility. “Through the “Revs Your Heart” tagline, we are proud to take it a step further by offering singing groups a chance in our collective efforts to inspire the growth of young music talent through the universal language of music,” Mr Anya said.

To take part in the competition participants must follow Yamaha by CFAO Mobility pages on Facebook, Instagram & TikTok &and download the tune from the link on the social media pages or the CFAO Mobility website. Participants should then record a video of themselves performing to the beat and include the words “Rev Your Heart”. They will then  upload their videos on their social media pages while tagging Yamaha by CFAO Mobility Kenya.

The top 50 videos with the most likes on social media will be assessed and approved to proceed to the semi-finals and finals by the competition judges Wyre Da Love Child, Producer Riccobeatz, and the multi-talented artist and singer, Femi One.
