Suspected police officers have allegedly kidnapped the Attorney General of Kenya, Justin Muturi’s son, Lesley Muturi.
Individuals in black combat abducted Lesley from inside his car as he drove within Kilimani after leaving a popular club along Dennis Pritt Road and forced him to drive with them in the police cruiser they were using, Embakasi West legislator Mark Mwenje revealed in a viral clip.
“We were in Kilimani, and my friend Lesley Muturi, son to AG Justin Muturi, was just arrested by the police here on the road. I was the one following him, and this is his car,” the MP said in the video, which he recorded while standing beside the four-wheel blue SUV that still had its doors open.
MP Mwenje believes that the alleged officers pulled a gun on the 40-year-old man while he stepped from his car, which he was driving alone.
“To the police who have taken him, we will find you. Release him right now. We will not sleep until we find him. We have informed everyone in Nairobi,” he says in the video.
At the time of reporting, the Attorney General himself had confirmed the incident, noting that the matter is already with the authorities and investigations are ongoing.
