In the early hours of this Thursday morning, I was scrolling through X, which is formerly Twitter (for the sake of our dearest Facebookers), when I saw an interesting post by Mike Sonko.

Since he left that seat, the former Nairobi Governor, whom other newspapers address as ‘ousted,’ has been a man of many careers and professions but mostly, a blogger, a renowned one, because I have been getting his tweets about his opinions on many ongoing topics on the Recommended page and sometimes as notifications.

> Why Has WhatsApp GB Been Banned?

However, this time, he was tweeting as a pastor or some sought of a spiritual father:

“It started with accidents every day, and today, it is floods. Kenyans let us repent and turn away from sin,” Mike Sonko’s tweet reads when loosely translated.

With it, he attached a sad TikTok-sourced video showing the ravaging effects of the ongoing floods in Kenya, where a pickup vehicle is seen being carried downstream by water which had cornered several residential houses around that place.

No one is seen in that video, and even if he didn’t mention the exact location of the happening, it is just sad when you watch it, specifically, having in mind the number of Kenyans who have perished since the heavy rains started.

Yesterday, the NY Times reported that in total, 179 people have died since the flooding began, including the Mai Mahiu flood death toll that hit 50 alone as of May 1, 2024.

After watching that video, I went into the comments section, and astonishingly, I found a link to a prophecy by Prophet Dr David Owuor about the ongoing floods, and I clicked on it:

Prophet Owuor’s video prophecy on ongoing floods in Kenya

As former Governor Mike Sonko wrote on X, stop whatever you are doing and take the next few minutes to kneel before God, repent and turn away from sin because that is exactly what Prophet Owuor is calling us to do in the YouTube video prophesying about the ongoing floods in the country.

“Historical floods are coming to the earth, and Kenya will not be spared. Kenya will not be spared, and the Lord is asking for repentance, then the nations may turn away from sin and prepare for the coming of the Messiah,” Prophet Owuor is heard.

Further, in that video titled Prophecy of Historic Floods Coming to the Earth, posted in January 2023, Prophet Owuor narrates how during the flooding, he saw every place covered by water, and people were trying to pass by vehicles, on foot and bikes but all was impossible.

“Time is over as we have seen, and we are sitting on the verge of eternity…to every man is an appointment with death. This life does not stay forever. It comes to an end,” he says, noting that the Lord is coming to shake the comforts of this generation as the clip ends.
