“We are absolutely honoured to be receiving this award. We do our best in serving our clients, we do not take it for granted that we have been recognized for our efforts,” said Phyllis Mwangi, the Marketing Manager at JamboPay, after being awarded by the Digital Inclusion Awards.

The e-payments service provider manages Nairobi City County revenue collection system, eJijiPay. It has also been awarded contracts to work with a few more counties this year including  Embu County, Tharaka- Nithi County and Meru County.

JamboPay is working with Gas Yetu, a project that is going to provide gas to Kenyans at a subsidized price. The project aims to distribute the gas to Kenyan households which would otherwise not afford to purchase the gas cylinders.
