Tanveer Nandhra Appointed Head Of Financial Markets At Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered Bank has announced the appointment of Tanveer Nandhra as the Head of Financial Markets, Standard Chartered East Africa with immediate effect.

Tanveer is a seasoned banker with over 15 years’ experience in Global and African. She joined the bank as an international graduate in 2005 and has worked across various markets.

Tanveer returned to the Kenya business in 2022 from her previous role as Head of Financial Markets, Standard Chartered Bank Mauritius.  In 2018, Tanveer was recognised among the Top 50 Female Leaders by Financial Times and HERoes Champion of Women in Business.

“We are confident that Tanveer’s in-depth understanding of clients and key relationships across East Africa w*** help us to fully capitalise on the significant business opportunities,” Standard Chartered Bank said in a statement. “We are excited about leveraging Tanveer’s experience, energy and leadership to take our business for***d.”
