Just at the perfect time when the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results are out, and students are thinking hard about what they will pursue in universities and colleges as career choices in the future, Educare International, nationally recognised for excellence and value in study abroad services, hosted one of Kenya’s largest 2025 student fairs, attended by over 30 international universities from across the globe.

The event, held in the three cities of Nairobi, Mombasa and Eldoret on diverse dates between January 27 and 30, provided an exceptional opportunity for students to explore higher education options at the represented international universities and learn more about their study opportunities, scholarships, student life and admission processes.

The global universities that participated included XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences (Germany), the University of Limerick (Ireland), Murdoch University (Australia), Australian Catholic University (ACU), Middlesex University Dubai and Malaysia’s Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), just to mention a few.

“We are excited to bring together so many universities in one place,” a representative from Educare told the media. “This Educare college fair helps prospective international Kenyan students who are looking for a university or college abroad learn more about their options.”

Highlighting the fair’s global reach, the representative added, “Our annual series of in-person international university fairs supports student recruitment goals in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.”

Typically, during the entire period, participating universities and colleges had set up booths at the venues—Artcaffé at Britam Towers, CityBlue Creekside Hotel, and Boma Inn Hotel in the said cities—where students asked questions and picked up information about the schools.

The event was free and open to all area students and parents. Some of the schools present at the Nairobi Educare Fair were Makini School, Arya Vedic Academy, Mang’u High, Rusinga School, Arya Samaj, and St George’s Girls’ School.

Some top schools were also on the roster for its Mombasa version, the most prominent ones being Light Academy, which ranked among the country’s top 10 schools in KCSE 2024, Shree Swaminarayan Academy, Greenwood Groove International School and Mombasa Academy.

In Eldoret, schools such as Sugoi Girls, Turbo Girls and Boys, Moi Girls, Kapsabet Boys and Girls, Nova Pioneer, Lulab Lochab, Paul Boit Boys, Hill School Girls, AIC Chebisaas Boys High School and Racecourse Secondary School were in attendance.

Higher education institutions, among them the Catholic University of East Africa, Rift Valley Technical Training Institute, and Eldoret National Polytechnic, were present as well.

Educare International’s Director, Mr Omar Mohamed, said the college fair is a time-saving opportunity for students and parents to gather a lot of information at one time, streamlining the university/college search process.

“We offer in-person fairs in regions and cities where our university members want to engage with students and where students are seeking worldwide post-secondary education,” said Omar.

“Educare fairs are a fantastic chance for them to gain insights into the global higher education system and to make informed decisions about their academic future,” he added, noting that there is one upcoming in September.

“We strongly encourage students and parents considering international education to attend so they can learn all about top international destinations for academic excellence, cutting-edge research, and a diverse student experience.”

For the Educare fair in September, Omar stated, participants will be encouraged to pre-register online and can contact representatives at +254 784 999 997 or visit their main office on the ground floor of Madonna House, Nairobi, for more information.

With its commitment to guiding students toward world-class education, Educare International continues to play a pivotal role in connecting Kenyan students with top global universities, making their dreams of studying abroad a reality.
