As Kenya prepares to host the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), football fans are being urged to familiarise themselves with the strict security and safety measures in place — particularly the list of items that will not be allowed inside stadiums during the tournament.
According to tournament organisers, the goal is to ensure a safe, secure, and family-friendly environment for all attendees while delivering a world-class experience across all CHAN venues. “If it explodes, offends, blocks, blasts or distracts — it stays outside,” read part of the guidance issued by tournament organisers.
