Former Ebru TV journalist Grace Mutango joins K24

Former Ebru TV producer Grace Mutango has joined K24. Mutango worked at Ebru TV from July 2015 during which she produced or hosted Hot plate Cooking show, Let’s Talk Show and Boiler Room show. She also served as an news anchor/reporter between October 2014 and May 2017.

The Hot Plate Cooking Show involved preparing one or more dishes over the course of an episode, taking the viewers through the food’s inspiration, preparation, and stages of cooking while the Let’s Talk show was a panel show featuring a group of outspoken female hosts, who are all going through varied life experiences, which included motherhood, new marriages and experiencing the single life.

On the other hand, the Boiler Room show featured a panel of potential investors, who consider offers from aspiring entrepreneurs seeking investments for their business or product.

Dubbed as the Kenyan version of ‘Shark Tank’, billionaire Chris Kirubi, Starehe MP Steve Mbogo , Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, Former Planning assistant minister Peter Kenneth, businessman Farouk Sheik were among those rumuored to have invested in Boiler Room.

Previously, the United States International University-Africa (USIU-A) graduate worked at GBS TV Africa as TV Home Shopping Show, news anchor/reporter. weather forecaster, Delicious Nairobi producer, Zooming Africa TV Show host, Unemployment Project Show host/producer and World’s Eye host between June 2009 and January 2012.
