DIB Bank Named The Best Islamic Bank In Kenya

DIB Bank Kenya Limited, a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC, has been named the Best Overall Islamic Bank in Kenya at the Islamic Finance News (IFN) Awards for the year 2022.

The Award ceremony, held in Dubai – United Arab Emirates recognized DIB Bank Kenya’s efforts in banking, investment, and innovations in Shariah-compliant banking.

During the event, DIB Bank Kenya also bagged three other awards including Best Corporate Bank in Kenya,  Best Investment Bank in Kenya, and Most Innovative Bank in Kenya.

“We are honoured to receive these prestigious awards from Islamic Finance News showcasing our commitment to providing our customers with the best Shari’a-compliant banking products and services. We remain committed to driving the growth of the Islamic finance industry in the country,” Ms Kagucia, Ag CEO DIB Bank Kenya said.

Since 2017, DIB Bank Kenya has contributed to the Islamic banking sector in the country, banking and investment products and services across various market segments, including corporates, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and households.

Islamic Finance has been gaining popularity in the country in the last decade, with DIB Bank Kenya progressively rolling out products targeted to customers notwithstanding their religious orientations.

“Through our in-depth understanding of the local market, we have continued to invest significantly by introducing various products and services that cater to the everyday needs of our customers,” she noted.

The IFN Awards are widely recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the Islamic finance industry, and winning this Award highlights DIB Bank Kenya’s strong performance and commitment to providing excellent services to its customers.
