CFAO Mobility Kenya has announced the acquisition of Tyre Distribution Africa (TYDIA), to become the official distributor of Michelin and BF Goodrich tyres in East Africa. This strategic acquisition underscores CFAO Mobility Kenya’s commitment to enhancing its offerings in the automotive sector and delivering exceptional solutions to customers across the region.

CFAO Mobility Kenya Managing Director, Arvinder Reel, said this acquisition is a transformative step in its journey to redefine automotive solutions in East Africa, as the appointed distributors for Michelin and BF Goodrich tyres in Kenya. “By integrating a tyre department into our robust mobility solution offering, we are enhancing our value proposition and cementing our position as a one stop shop for all mobility needs, for our customers,” Mr Reel.

From passenger cars to commercial and construction vehicles, TYDIA’s portfolio has ensured faster delivery and product availability across all segments.

With this acquisition, CFAO Mobility Kenya is poised to strengthen its distribution network, ensuring even greater availability of Michelin and BF Goodrich tyres across both wholesale and retail customer segments. Mr Reel said plans for future product line enhancements are already underway, further cementing CFAO Mobility Kenya’s role as a trusted partner in the tyre industry.

The new Tyre Department at CFAO Mobility Kenya will seek to tap into new customer segments, while leveraging on the expertise and product innovation from the respective OEMs, offering seamless service to customers and partners.
