Kiptinness boasts over 27 years of cumulative legal experience. Prior to joining Safaricom, he was a Senior Partner at Kiptinness and Odhiambo Associates LLP heading the technology and Intellectual Property (IP) practice for the past 10 years.

The recent appointment is the latest milestone in Kaikai's prolific journalism career spanning over two decades.

MCSK is the largest and oldest of three Collective Management Organizations (CMOs)  in Kenya. It is licensed to represent artists and ensure that they are compensated for use of their work by businesses, individuals and media houses.

The fanatical following that their shows have drawn, particularly Maria and Zora, exemplify their contribution to Kenya's TV industry and entertainment in general. To do it all while being known for something else entirely makes the feat even more impressive.
