We also wish to condemn in the strongest terms possible the heinous terrorist attack as we join the Kenya Unbowed chorus, noting that, such heinous acts, do not have a place in modern society. We have been injured but we refuse to be cowed by such cowardly acts, which only serve to renew our commitment to overcome all forms of violence, oppression and discrimination.

In the midst of the gloom and pain, we have received an outpouring of support and a shoulder to lean on from various quarters to who we are indebted. We wish to profoundly thank the Government of Kenya led by President H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, and specially commend the Kenyan Security Forces for their rapid response, courageous and swift containment of the situation. Thank you, to the humanitarian agencies including the Kenya Red Cross Society, St. John Ambulance, Rotary Club among others for their continued invaluable support. Thank you, to all our esteemed tenants and guests for your co-operation during the evacuation process, where more than 700 of our brothers and sisters were safely delivered to safety.

We sincerely thank University of Nairobi Medical School and Chiromo Funeral Home, Kenyatta National Hospital, Avenue Hospital, Aga Khan University Hospital and M.P. Shah Hospital among others, for offering medical support. We are grateful to the selfless Kenyans from all walks of life for promptly donating blood, volunteering and standing with us, at our darkest moment. We would also like to thank our brothers and sisters from the media for rallying the outpouring of public support.
