Davido’s 30 Billion World Tour comes to Nairobi

B.E.T Award winner and Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to thrill Kenyans at the 30 Billion World Tour Concert in Kenya at Uhuru Gardens on November 24.

Davido’s 30 Billion World Tour is coined after his 2017 hit single “If”, that had the catchy phrase ‘30 billion for your account’. The song received massive airplay and rave reviews across the globe which led to it going platinum.

The concert at Uhuru Gardens will mark the spectacular final leg of the World Tour which has seen the award winning artiste tour more than 30 countries.

Speaking about the concert, KCARL Entertainment Events Manager Tunde Daniel said, “Having one of Africa’s bestselling artists come to Kenya goes a long way to prove that Nairobi is the ultimate party destination in East Africa and entertainment hub of the region, Inviting Davido to perform  the 30 Billion Concert here fits both the profile of an artist of his caliber and the respect attached to Nairobi city. This concert is definitely one for the books,” he added.

Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) group has collaborated with Kenya’s premier entertainment solutions company KCARL Entertainment on the standard arrangements for the event. These include venue and ticket sales ahead of the arrival of the prolific songwriter. The Nigerian superstar is also scheduled for a meet and greet party with his fans before hitting the stage at the show ground.

Also set to perform at the concert are Kenya heavyweights The Kansoul and P-Unit alongside celebrated top DJs:  DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Protege, DJ Ace King and DJ Seme who will be bringing the house down from 5pm till dawn. MC’s for the night will be the multi-talented duo of  Amina and Jalango and will be tasked with making sure the crowd is lit throughout the night.

Regular tickets are going for Ksh3, 000 advance and Ksh3, 500 at the gate, while  the VIP section is Ksh10,000 and includes 4 voucher for Drinks. The VVIP section will go Kshs25, 000 and will include an open bar, where concert goers will get to enjoy limitless drinks.  Tickets are available on ticketsasa.com and there will also be flash ticket sales for groups and individuals on the 16th November.

Davido 30 Billion Concert has been sponsored by Koroga Festival and Radio Africa Group as the official media partner through Kiss 100, Classic FM, Capital, Radio Jambo, and Star Newspaper, Songa by Safaricom, other partners include Coca Cola, Schweppes and Taxify. Davido’s performance is set to be the party starter for Koroga festival fans who have been promised an out of the norm experience.
