The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination enters its final week this week, and students are expected to write their final tests on Friday, November 22, 2024.

This year’s exams are being held in 10,755 centres, with the largest number of candidates ever recorded—965,501 students, up from 903,138 in 2023.

KCSE 2024 officially began on October 22 when the candidates took their oral and practical exams for elective subjects like French, German, and Music, months after those taking technical subjects such as Art and Design, Woodwork, and Metalwork had already begun their projects.

The general exam period for common subjects like Mathematics, English, and Chemistry began on Monday, November 11, and the candidates will finish with the Physics Practical this Friday in one session that will take two hours and 30 minutes, from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
