Founders Connect Hangout forum to focus on business digital marketing

Founders Connect Africa, one of Kenya’s foremost platform on matters entrepreneurship, will be hosting its sixth edition business forum dubbed Founders Connect-Hangout on Friday evening in Nairobi.

The Under the theme ‘Managing Your Brand In The Digital Era’ the forum will see renowned communications gurus share their expertise on how entrepreneurs can make their brands thrive in this digital age.

Conversations during the event at the Coffee Casa Restaurant in Parklands, will emphasis on how businesses need to embrace digital marketing by creatively designing and implementing digital marketing strategies, for the benefit of the organisations and clients.

While commenting on the event, Insideout Development CEO Hannah Muchuki Githuki said: “The golden rule for marketers is to ‘get people where they already are’. The fact that most people spend their time online, makes it the ideal platform for user. It gives you an opportunity to present your brand to your potential customer.”

According to the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), there are over 40 million internet users, with mobile subscriptions accounting for the majority of internet connections in Kenya.

“As at 31st December 2018, the total number of active data/Internet subscriptions stood at 45.7 million of which 47.9 per cent were on broadband,” reads the latest 2018/2019 Q2 report by CA.

One of the key speakers during this unique event is Tell-Em Public Relations General Manager Joel Chacha. He holds over 10 years’ experience on the communications and Public Relations Industry. Others top speakers are James Githinji, well known as TheCure J-Soul, one of the local leading social media influencer as well as Cheptoek Boyo, a renowned local online content creator and journalist.

Founders Connect Africa forum, previously held as Founders Breakfast Kenya, seeks to bring together diverse entrepreneurs to share their journeys, challenges and successes in a bid to grow their businesses. The platform also provides an opportunity for the participants to interact and network.

The forum, which will be in form of a cocktail, has been organised by the Money Series Africa, an online business magazine and Insideout Development, a Business training and consultancy firm among others. This edition has also partnered with Okolea International, one of the leading digital financial solution provider firm in the country.
