Standard Group, which runs Kenya’s second biggest newspaper, continued to swim in red ink after recording another loss for the half-year ended 30th June 2023.
Standard Group CEO, at a meeting held on Wednesday, revealed that new operational structures are being worked on across the organisation to increase efficiency and weed out non-performers.
The Standard Group CEO staff communication meeting, scheduled for Wednesday 16th August 2023, is expected to be a turning point for Standard Group, Kenya’s second biggest newspaper company that is facing financial difficulties.
The Standard Group has come face to face with a monster that largely afflicts public service entities: ghost workers.
The format of the show breaks away from the traditional TV game shows that are usually pre-recorded and only a limited number of participants are invited on set while the public watch for entertainment only. “As the Standard Group and KTN, we are happy to provide a home for the show on our KTN Home channel and we look forward to great excitement, great entertainment and a great first season,” says Mr Joe Munene, Managing Director for the Broadcast Division at Standard Group.
