Maputo-Mozambique:

The government of Swaziland is planning to build a pipeline to Mozambique to transport its fuel from Maputo harbour, in the southern province of Maputo.

Swazi minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, Mtiti Fakudze, said the pipeline will be the best way and cheaper for his country to transport fuel to satisfy the country’s demands.

“We would like to establish a project of a pipeline at Maputo port for the transportation of fuel to Swaziland,” said Fakudze.

Fakudze is part of the delegation of the King Mswati III, who is on an official visit to Mozambique, since Sunday. Fakudze also said the nation wants to strengthen the existing cooperation with the Portuguese speaking nation.

According to him, the mountainous country also needs more power and gas from Mozambique. During his stay in Mozambique, Mswati III will deal with issues related to Swazi exports through Maputo harbor, as well as access to goods and logistics. (Xinhua)
