Leading telco Safaricom on Monday, December 20 alerted new graduates of career opportunities through its Discover Graduate Program.

The deadline to apply for the Discover Graduate Program is December 31. To qualify, you must be a recent graduate (within one year) with at least a second upper degree.

The program eyes graduates interested in careers in user experience and user interface design (UI/UX), Internet of Things (IoT) or Machine Learning. Successful candidates must have demonstrable knowledge of at least one of these skillsets.

The skillsets Safaricom is eyeing are notably in line with the company’s current strategy to evolve beyond a telco to become a ‘purpose-led technology company’. Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa has prioritized building digital ecosystems across various sectors.
