Eight young Kenyans will engage with President Barack Obama in a live satellite broadcast during a pan-African Town Hall event that will take place at the University of Johannesburg, Soweto Campus on Saturday.

The Kenyan audience will be hosted at KBC TV studios in Nairobi and will have the chance to speak directly with the US President during his historic trip to Africa, according to a statement from the United States Embassy in Nairobi.

During the 75-minute live broadcast television event, the President will also respond to questions from young Africans in two other remote locations – Kampala and Lagos – as well as from the studio audience in South Africa. The event will be broadcast live by KBC Channel One TV.

KBC has expressed its willingness to share the signal with Kenyan TV and radio broadcasters interested in featuring the event on their programs.
