This comes after Kimabu ex-governor William Kabogo, whose home neighbors Windsor Hotel, had raised a complain to the government over the release of toxic waste into a close by river.
“@NemaKenya Save us from Windsor Hotel pollution. We can’t sleep at night, they are releasing raw toxic effluent in to the river. I doubt you will do anything coz it has been reoccurring . @StateHouseKenya I have hope coz Tobiko is Tibim,” Kabogo said in April.
The hotel was built by former Environment Minister John Michuki, who introduced tough environmental laws, especially in the protection of rivers. His children are managing the family business since Mr Michuki’s demise.
