MP Shah Hospital has reassured the public that “everything remains in control” following the death of a patient at the facility on Friday who succumbed to the deadly influenza virus.
In a press dispatch released on Tuesday, the hospital’s management said it has taken measures to control the disease saying that another patient admitted to the facility showing similar symptoms is under treatment and in stable condition.
“We would like to acknowledge on Thursday July 18, 2019 a patient was brought to our hospital and subsequently admitted with signs and symptoms of a respiratory tract infection. The patient’s condition worsened and unfortunately passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019,” reads the statement.
