Late last month, Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli took the social scene by storm when she declared she was single again, dismissing the man in her life, Nairobi businessman Jared Nevaton Ombongi, as a “community husband” for allegedly having affairs with several women.

“Happy Holidays folks.I’m officially single and will now focus on raising my boys. As public figures we meet all sorts of people and most just want trophies whether you are well known or not be very careful who you allow into your life don’t go giving your heart to everyone. Sociopaths will keep you entangled in their web of lies and you will be one of their many victims. when you actually believe someone is true to you only to find out they are community husbands you are safer stepping aside. Nobody should ever tag me in posts about Jared Ombongi who has been associated with me I disassociate myself from such links from today,” she she wrote on her Instagram page.

HAPPY TIMES: Lilian Muli and Jared Nevaton.

“As politicians say “I would rather die” than be linked to a polygamist! Narcissism is real. Stay woke. I speak out because no one will ever embarrass me again. People ask why put your stuff out there? Well it’s because next time you see Mr community husband don’t give him the credit of saying that’s Lillian’s man. I am actually very blessed I have two wonderful men in my life Joshua munene and Liam Francis and that’s all I need. #tooprecious#notcommon”,” she added.

“I speak out because no one will ever embarrass me again. People ask why put your stuff out there? Well it’s because next time you see Mr Community husband don’t go saying that’s Lillian’s man,” she said.

Muli, who has a son with Nevaton, thereafter, went on to post a photo of her co-parenting with her divorced husband Moses Kanene with who she has another child.

However, recently, she appeared to have mended fences with Nevaton when she posted a photo of him tending to his son.

And now, Muli has come out to explain what led her to rant about Nevaton. She has since deleted the post from Instagram.

The new Lilian Muli.

“December was a very dark month for me I felt broken beyond repair; but God is fixing that. I decided to celebrate myself because I realized we seek the validation of people so much and sometimes forget that self Love is key. I therefore dared to do things differently and I purposed to Shout to the world that I am so proud of what I’ve achieved over the years and I’m determined to do even better. I have started a new journey of self discovery and I invite you to walk with me as I unveil my new projects. Keep it here for the unveiling. LILLIAN MULI The Brand,” she wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.

In an earlier post, she had written: ” I’m not going to please everyone; not everyone’s going to like me. I accepted that a long time ago, and if I had to shed a tear every time Someone hated on me, believe me, I’d be severely dehydrated ?. I made peace with myself and I’m so in Love with the woman I’ve become. Fearless!”
