CFAO Motors Kenya (formerly Toyota Kenya) has officially started the construction of its premises in Kisumu County which w*** **st the CFAO Motors Kenya Kisumu branch.
The ground-breaking of the new branch construction is a s**w of commitment to the Lake region economic hub by the vehicle distributor that recently rebranded from Toyota Kenya but has been renting its current space in Kisumu city.
“Our investment of Ksh500 m***ion to***ds the new s**wroom enables us to consolidate our operations and offer our Lake region custo**** a great experience where they can access sale of vehicles, spare parts and service all under one roof. Currently, we our s**wroom and service works**ps are in two different locations within the city,” CFAO Managing Director Arvinder Reel said.
The 3,600 square metre facility located at Nyamasaria and which w*** take 12 months to complete, w*** add 40 percent more space from CFAO Motors Kenya current operations in Kisumu that w*** include 12 service bays, more parking space for custo**** and increased space to display the auto distributor’s expanded portfolio that now **uses Toyota, Hino, Suzuki, Yamaha, Automark, AutoFast and winparts.
“The introduction of additional brands such as Automark in the Lake region allows us to now offer trade-in for our custo****, w** can bring in their used vehicle for a new vehicle,” added Mr Reel.
The new CFAO Motors Kenya s**wroom w*** utilise green energy by installing a solar plant expected to generate 45,000kWh per annum.
With two aut**rised service centres operating in the Western block, Mr Reel added that the Kisumu facility w*** enhance CFAO Motors Kenya’s support in the region including on boarding of additional partners.
CFAO Motors Kenya operates a three-channel network in its operations, including branches, ******s and Toyota Kenya Aut**rised Service Centres. The branches and the ******s are able to offer vehicle sales, services and spare parts. The aut**rised service centres on the other hand offer services and spare parts.
