Joseph Kinyua, the long-serving senior civil servant who only left public service in October last year, after four decades, has been confirmed as the new Chairman of Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Group - one of Kenya's largest banks.

His radio career saw him work for Christian stations Sayari and Biblia Husema, before making a lane in Kalenjin vernacular radio with stints at Kass FM and, later, Emoo FM.

The appointment is valid for a period of thee years. Kositany unsuccessfully sought the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket in the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial race.

She is the holder of a a doctorate in business administration from Moi University. Before taking on public office, she was a banker working as head of the Nairobi region for Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Group.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday, March 7th announced vacancies for Information Communication Technology (ICT) officers. A total of 34 roles are open in the Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy.
