Popular TV anchor Betty Kyalo sent a teaser to her fans ahead of her premiere on K24 later this month.

Kyalo, who made a shocking move from KTN News in August, posted a photo of her on the balcony of DSM Place along Kijabe Street, Nairobi, the base of the Mediamax Network-owned TV station as he revealed she will be back on air “very very soon.”

Most of her fans were quick to notice the spot she took the photo has previously featured in photos of other popular Mediamax staffers as they declared their desire to see her back on the screen.

Here are some of the reactions:

Kyalo, who is set to premiere on November 23, is set to headline K24’s Weekend Edition when the station, which is majority owned by the Kenyatta family and Deputy President William Ruto, relaunches.

Observers are keenly waiting to see whether she would draw in audience numbers. Media critics say though K24 produces very good news, especially human interest ones, but what it lacks is a presenter with the allure and studio command that Kyalo has.

With her arrival, managers at Mediamax Network are set to repackage K24’s English evening news team with Kyalo set to replace Anjlee Gadhvi, who presently kicks off the Weekend Edition on Friday.
