Why Has WhatsApp GB Been Banned?

I was scrolling through Facebook, and I saw this post: “Anyone who can help me? My WhatsApp isn’t working,” somebody had posted in a group. I knew he was one of WhatsApp GB’s users because I heard, as a rumour, that it had been banned, read On X (formerly Twitter), and consecutively, people were saying it.

So why was WhatsApp GB banned? Why it is not working: First, WhatsApp GB has not been banned as it still works on other phones, and some people are still using it. That is after downloading a new version because the old one may have contained corrupted files and excessive cache or data buildup following frequent usage over time, which might have hindered its performance.

Then, in the latest GB WhatsApp app, turn on auto-updates for automatic updates when your mobile device is connected to Wi-Fi to minimize such circumstances in the future.

Recently, there were reports that WhatsApp GB, one of WhatsApp mods, an improved version of the original WhatsApp Messenger with unique features and customization, was banned due to privacy issues, and when you look, it might be true.

Unlike the official WhatsApp Messenger, WhatsApp GB allows users to hide blue ticks when messaging, or they could even set it to single checks, hide themselves to view WhatsApp status such that they see but you can’t notice them, one can freeze last seen, among many other freedoms.

Where does the breach of privacy come in? Well, the official WhatsApp App has a feature called “View Once,” in which users select when sharing media and other files with one another, but whoever receives will be unable to access the file for saving as it is temporarily available to see only once – WhatsApp GB bypasses this feature, blocking it, and permitting its users to save the file thus breaching the privacy of the ‘certified’ users who use the original WhatsApp messenger by Meta.

If you want to re-activate WhatsApp GB after it stopped working, try to download its update, and if it fails to work again, get the real WhatsApp messenger because it works on all Android phones and iPhones and is secure.
