As schools reopened for the first term yesterday, a disturbing video of an apparently drunk secondary school girl has gone viral on social media, rising mixed reactions from Kenyans.

The teenage girl reportedly of Kangubiri Girls High School appears to be heavily intoxicated in Karatina town at a bus station. In the video, a middle aged woman is seen holding the girl to prevent her from toppling, being robed or taken advantage of.

The woman in the video is heard saying in the local dialect that she knows the the girl’s home. She further says that the adults (parents)  are to be blamed for misconduct of young people since they copy what they see being done at homes.
