TV47 has unveiled a new state-of-the-art studio in Muthaiga North Road, Nairobi.
The studios were launched in an event held on July 18 graced by CS Eliud Owallo, the Cabinet Secretary for ICT in Kenya and Bungoma County Governor Kenneth Lusaka.
The station also introduced to the audience fresh editorial programming and news anchors, among them Fred Indimuli, Victor Muyakane, Grace Kuria, Mwanaisha Chidzuga, George Maringa, Ahmed Bahajj, Hibaq Said.
CS Eliud Owallo, in his keynote speech, expressed profound pleasure in joining the Cape Media to celebrate the achievement.
“It gives me great pleasure to join the Cape Media family in celebrating this milestone. Firstly, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the entire team at Cape Media’s TV47, who have worked tirelessly to bring this new innovation to life. TV47 hopes to outwit the big boys’ in the battle for eyeballs, with state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge production facilities.
The launch event garnered an overwhelming response from the attendees, who were treated to a glimpse of the station’s dynamic vision for the future.
