Nothing is more dynamic in this market than the customer preferences.

Samsung Electronics East Africa has opened a new store in Nairobi, the largest in Africa. Dubbed Samsung Delite, the new store will provide a new market experience by offering a convergent service and devices for consumers across Kenya.

Speaking during the launch at the ICEA Lion building, Nairobi, Samsung East Africa’s head of mobile Simon Kariithi said the key priority is to offer customers a new level of experience to enable them achieve what they have not done this far.  “Nothing is more dynamic in this market than the customer preferences,” he said.

“We have to keep on ensuring that our customer centres are not just stores that stock our products but a place to demonstrate technology.”

Meanwhile, the company has introduced the Gear VR (Virtual Reality) 2016 for the first time in Kenya, which will now transform the way of viewing.  Samsung Delite store will also showcase the latest technology in East Africa with focus on Samsung Business Solutions.

The special store will also be used to demonstrate eCommerce, market mobility and multi-media usages. Having launched the new product, Galaxy S7 last week and set to hit the market by 18th March, Samsung East Africa has now put on offer a wide range of products.

The promotion that runs from 25th February to 3rd March offers customers an opportunity to ‘buy one and get one free’ on mobile device Ace 4Neo, a 5 per cent off for LI Ace and A Series 2016. “Innovation is very important. Our biggest market is the youth and that is why we focus more on retail and online,” said Mr Kariithi.

The 4,045 square-feet of floor space will showcase B2B products and accessories to improve personal and business user experience.  “The latest innovations do not have to be expensive as the market as the market has dictated over the years. With the Gear VR, we are making the virtual reality more accessible,” added Mr Kariithi.
