KCB Group has been voted the Best Commercial Bank by the Banker Africa Magazine in the 2015 East African Awards. The bank also scooped the award for the Best Regional Bank and the Most Socially Responsible Bank.
The annual Banker Africa East Africa Awards, now in their second year, aim at identifying and promoting excellence and best practice in financial services. The awards attracted participation of other 26 commercial banks in the African region. KCB has operations in six countries in the region — Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, and Tanzania.
“Our business environment is so dynamic and we have been on the lookout for new opportunities to deepen financial inclusion,” said KCB Group CEO Joshua Oigara.
