Heritage Insurance Company has opened a new office in the Nairobi’s central business district. The new office located at Lonrho House was necessitated by the need to increase accessibility to customers within the city and its environs.
The insurer has embarked on an aggressive retail outreach campaign focused on creating more awareness of their products and services as well as facilitating increased uptake. This move has been informed by increased competition and the need for the company to claim a bigger piece of the general insurance business.
Heritage Managing Director Godfrey Kioi said service providers are introducing innovative and unconventional products that are customer centric.
“As we grow we realise that there is a clear demand for more choice and flexibility in health insurance products. To satisfy this demand and change in market dynamics, we need to constantly innovate to ensure we remain customer centric at all times. The Heritage Flexi product allows for a unique partnership where the insurer partners with the customers ideally those who are employers to tailor make health solutions that support their respective business models,” he said.
