Webuye thieves unleash bees on police

A gang of thieves yesterday released bees on police who had gone to arrest them at Webuye Pan-Paper Mill.  The more than 10 men were trying to steal scrap metal and had carried the bees in a sack. They released the swarm and fled into the forest.  The police were forced to retreat.  One officer was seriously stung and treated at Webuye District Hospital.
