Bharti Airtel is offering Machakos Police Station free internet. The connection will allow the officers to use online platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to interact, receive and share
information related to security with security agents and the public.

Police officers will also be enable to access intelligence information and news online which will help their duties. Airtel Kenya CEO said security is one of the key factors that influence growth of business. “Access to reliable communication will open up superior channels of communication, giving the police officers an opportunity to take security control to
a whole new level,” added Mr. El Youssefi.

“This will go a long way in ensuring that security is enhanced through a fast and reliable means of communication,” said Machakos Police Communication Officer Francis Simiyu Barasa. “With free internet connection, our officers will now be proactive in
keeping up with security content and updates from various information platforms
available online.”
